What does a braces quote include?
The price you are quoted should cover the whole journey, not just the day the braces go on. At Qualiteeth, your treatment cost normally includes:
- The brackets and wires, fitted by your dentist
- Regular adjustment visits throughout treatment
- Removal of the braces at the end
- Retainers to keep your teeth straight afterwards
X-rays and records taken before treatment, and treatments such as fillings, scaling or tooth removal if needed, are explained separately. Your dentist gives you the full figure in writing before you decide.
What affects the cost of braces?
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| How much the teeth need to move | Severe crowding or bite problems take longer and need more visits. |
| Type of braces | Metal braces are the most affordable; ceramic, self-ligating and clear aligners cost more. |
| Treatment time | Most cases take 18 months to 3 years. |
| Extra treatment | Some patients need extractions, fillings or gum treatment first. |
Five ways to keep your braces affordable
- Choose metal braces if appearance is not a priority. They are the most affordable and work for most cases.
- Ask for the total cost, not a monthly figure. Compare quotes on what they include.
- Keep every adjustment appointment. Missed visits can make treatment take longer.
- Look after your brackets. Avoid ice, hard sweets and sticky food so brackets do not break.
- Wear your retainer. It protects your result so you do not need braces again later.
Affordable should still be safe
Avoid “fake braces” or braces offered by unqualified sellers online or at roadside stalls. They do not move teeth safely and can harm teeth and gums. Proper braces need an examination, X-rays and planning by a registered dentist. At Qualiteeth, you see a dentist at every step and the full cost is explained before treatment.
Frequently asked questions
How much do braces cost in Seri Kembangan?
At Qualiteeth Olive Hill in Seri Kembangan, metal braces start from RM4,000 and clear aligners from RM7,999. The final cost depends on how complex your case is, how long treatment takes and the type of braces. Your dentist gives you the full cost, including adjustments and retainers, before you start.
Is there any obligation after the consultation?
No. The braces consultation is no-obligation: you can take time to decide. Your dentist examines your teeth and bite and explains your options and estimated cost. X-rays and records for a full treatment plan are charged separately.
Can I pay for braces in instalments?
Payment options are available, so you do not need to pay the full amount on day one. WhatsApp the Olive Hill team at 018-919 1892 to ask what suits your plan.
Why are some braces quotes much cheaper than others?
Check what the quote includes. Some low prices cover only the brackets, with each adjustment, X-rays or retainers charged extra. Always ask for the total cost of the whole treatment, and make sure it is done by a registered dentist.
Are online or roadside ‘fake braces’ a cheaper option?
No. Fake or fashion braces fitted by unqualified people do not straighten teeth safely and can damage teeth and gums or cause infections. The Ministry of Health has warned the public against them. Braces should only be fitted by a registered dentist.
