Meet the dentists behind every smile

Dr Lim Jun Yi started his journey of dentistry in University of Malaya in 2010. He was awarded Second Place Overall at the 16th Dental Students’ Scientific Conference. He has completed his compulsory service with Ministry of Health Malaysia before he joined private practice. He also attached with multiple disciplinary dental specialists, including Oral Maxillofacial Surgery department and Paediatric department in Hospital Tuanku Fauziah, Perlis. He then founded Qualiteeth Dental Clinic and is determined to provide quality care for every patient in a holistic manner. He also believes that continuous dental education is important to keep dentists updated. At present, he is committing fully in Qualiteeth Dental Clinic. He practises general dentistry with special interest in Dental Implants, Orthodontics and Aesthetic Dentistry. He has completed his dental implant training from Megagen, Korea, and has been actively placing dental implants for his patients to restore their dental health and improve their quality of life. Dr Lim also attended “Victory With Veneers” course conducted by renowned Prosthodontist Dr Army Empol, as well as “Restorative Success: Science Meets Practice” lecture and workshop. In order to provide better treatment to his patient, Dr Lim has completed training in Orthodontics by renowned Orthodontist Dr Lawrence Yong who is also the founder of a multidisciplinary specialist dental clinic in Singapore.

Dr. Ng Yee Ying obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the National University of Malaysia in year 2015 with Dean’s List award. In 2015, she published her research study on “Oral Health Literacy and Behaviour” in Journal of Dentistry Indonesia. Dr Ng has also successfully completed her two-year Progressive Orthodontic Seminar training, Megagen Dental Implantology Course, as well as courses on MRC's Myobrace® system. At present, Dr Ng is committing fully in Qualiteeth Dental Clinic. With her special interest in Orthodontics, Aesthetic and Minimally Invasive Restorative Dentistry, she is actively involved in continuous dental education and training from time to time. Her passion in dentistry has empowered her to provide holistic approach to her patients, thus improving their quality of life.

Dr Ashley obtained her Degree of Dental Surgery (DDS) at MAHSA University and began her journey in dentistry in 2012.

At present, Dr Ashley commits fully at Qualiteeth dental in all aspect of dental care with interest in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontic and oral surgery.

Having graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University Malaya, Dr. Olivia Cheong is one who inspires calm and confidence in her patients.

A General Dental Practitioner by heart, she has a flair for Endodontics, Restorative Dentistry and enjoys Orthodontics, Implantology and various surgical procedures.

Dr Tey Wei Tian is a general dentist who obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Faculty of Dentistry at the National University of Malaysia(UKM).

Upon graduation,she proceeded to serve the public for 2 years in the largest and busiest clinic in the town of Seremban, Negeri Sembilan .

Dr Tey’s persona as a gentle and caring dentist will put even patients with dental phobia at ease. Her patience and attention to details help make sure your treatment options are personalised for you.

After graduating from International Medical University, Dr Goh served the government in Kuala Kubu Bharu before joining the private sector. She aims to provide quality health care through improving patient's oral health, building relationships and educating patients. She believes building trust and providing honest dentistry are keys to making dental visit a comfortable experience for all patients.

A young and passionate dentist who enjoys helping people and providing beautiful smiles. She enjoys educating children about the importance of proper oral hygiene. Dr Ho has a strong interest in the fields of Orthodontics. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and hunting for new foodie spots.

Dr Aaron Tan earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Padjadjaran (UNPAD). After completing dental school, he underwent 1 year of compulsory government service at Klinik Pergigian Port Dickson. At present, he is working at Qualiteeth Dental Clinic on all aspects of dental care. His commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth has allowed him to provide the highest level of dental care to his patients. He believes in building long-term relationships with his patients, and he takes the time to explain every procedure thoroughly, answering any questions or concerns his patients may have. With his expertise, warm demeanor, and commitment to patient care, Dr Aaron is dedicated to helping patients achieve their optimal oral health and a confident smile.

Dr Tan Zhi Wen graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Penang International Dental College. He is dedicated to providing quality care and to educating patients about their oral health.

Known for his warm personality and meticulous approach, Dr Tan creates a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who visits.

Graduated from India in 2016, Dr Tan Xi Zhen has served in Malaysia’s Ministry of Health for a couple of years before officially joining Qualiteeth Dental Clinic in 2019. Gentle and compassionate with vast experience dealing with kids, she believes dentistry must be patient centered, approaching each individual with the enthusiasm to create healthy, happy smiles. With special passion in orthodontics and esthetics, she plans for each patient comprehensively, paying close attention to the small details to make sure the high standards of dentistry are maintained.

Dr Cynthia served in the Malaysian public sector for two years, where she developed a strong interest in oral surgery and paediatric dentistry. She attends professional education courses every year to keep her skills current, and aims to give every patient a comfortable, positive experience.

Dr Han provides a full range of dental care, including preventive, restorative and aesthetic treatment, and keeps up to date with advances in dentistry. She is currently completing the Essential Orthodontics course certified by Dental Learning Horizon. She believes in high-quality treatment that helps patients achieve and maintain good oral health.

Dr Rexen graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from SEGi University in 2019 and holds a Fellowship of the American Academy of Fixed Orthodontics (FAFO, USA). As a dental officer with the Ministry of Health, he completed postings in oral surgery at Hospital Sungai Buloh and paediatric dentistry at Hospital Selayang, and worked with the restorative specialist unit.

His clinical interests include orthodontics, root canal treatment, crown and bridge, oral surgery and aesthetic dentistry.

Dr Teoh graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from AIMST University. He served as a government dental officer at Klinik Pergigian Gunung Rapat, Ipoh, before joining private practice at a dental specialist centre.

He has a strong interest in orthodontics and has trained internationally, including the International Training Workshop of Precise Digital Orthodontics at the West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University, and Johnston’s Cephalometric Analysis Workshop at Zhejiang University. He is a Youth Fellow of the International College of Dentists. He speaks English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Dr. Diong Jia Hock graduated with Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from University of Malaya. He practises General Dentistry with a keen interest in Preventive and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Diong finds great satisfaction in improving patient’s oral health, function and smile. He is committed to providing comprehensive dental care and experience through his meticulous and caring approach.

Having graduated from AIMST University in 2018, Dr Phoon Li Wen has served in the Ministry of Health as a dental officer for 3 years before joining Qualiteeth Dental Clinic. She is also providing family dentistry with special interest in Orthodontics and Aesthetic Dentistry. She is empathetic towards patients’ concern and always strives to care for patients with a holistic approach.

Dr Ananda believes modern dentistry means caring for the whole patient, from prevention and hygiene to corrective and cosmetic treatment and dental emergencies. He focuses on giving every patient a comfortable experience and lasting results.

Dr Arva graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Karachi as best graduate and valedictorian, with nine distinctions and three gold medals. She holds the MJDF/MFDS membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and gained hospital experience at Universiti Malaya in oral and maxillofacial surgery, conservative dentistry and paediatric dentistry.

Her skills include complex root canal treatment, minor oral surgery, direct veneers, dentures and dental care for children. She speaks English, Bahasa Malaysia, Urdu, Hindi and Gujarati.

Dr Azzieatul graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Lincoln University College in 2020 with a CGPA of 3.8. She has over five years of clinical experience in government dental clinics in Kuala Lumpur, including early work with 3D digital denture technology, and worked closely with orthodontic and periodontic specialists.

She is currently completing a restorative dentistry attachment, training in crowns, post and core, root canal retreatment and implant cases. She speaks Bahasa Malaysia and English.

A general dentist with a special interest in preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Dr Chong provides comprehensive oral care with the aim of keeping every smile healthy and looking its best.

Dr Foo has practised dentistry since 2009, starting with three years in government service before moving into private practice. His interests include restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery and dental implants.

Dr Lee Pei Chieng graduated from Penang International Dental College with First Class Honors. After graduation, she underwent 2 years government service at one of the busiest clinics in Kepong, KL at Klinik Pergigian Jinjang. She also worked in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Paediatric department in Hospital Kuala Lumpur. At present, she is working at Qualiteeth Dental Clinic on all aspects of dental care. She continues to attend various international and local conferences to acquire new skills and updates in dentistry. She has obtained certificates in essential skills for wisdom tooth removal, Rotary Endodontics, Key of occlusion of Natural Teeth and Implant Crowns, Sharpen Clinical acumens: crowns, veneers and onlays and many more.

Dr Lok Lit Wen graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery(BDS) degree from Manipal University, India and began his career in Sarawak where he also served in various outreach programs to cater to the dental needs of the local communities in remote areas.

As a dentist, Dr Lok understands the fear and anxiety that comes with a dental visit and strives to make patients as comfortable and relaxed as possible during treatments. He is very passionate in restorative dentistry and aims to give every tooth a fighting chance whenever possible.

Dr Lok believes in continually improving oneself and the need to stay relevant in these changing times. He has also been trained in providing orthodontic treatment under the mentorship of orthodontist Dr Kenneth Lew.

Dr Mong graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2010 and has more than 14 years of clinical experience. He is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and completed comprehensive dental implant surgery training at Universiti Malaya.

His further training includes Damon self-ligating braces (Hong Kong), a comprehensive orthodontic course in Singapore and veneers. His interests include dental implants, braces, root canal treatment, veneers and crowns. He speaks English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and some Cantonese.

Dr Phoebe graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from MAHSA University in 2020 and has worked as a general dentist with the Ministry of Health. She has completed courses in impacted wisdom tooth surgery and minor oral surgery.

She has a special interest in aesthetic dentistry, orthodontics and children’s dentistry, and is known for being gentle and good with children. She speaks English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.
